Utah has a wide variety of fishing waters, from major streams like the Green and the Provo rivers, to large Lake Powell and Strawberry Reservoir, as well as many pristine mountain streams. Jim DeMoux covers over 300 of these waters, including the Uintah Mountain streams on both the north and south slopes. Utah has a number of great game fish: Bonneville cutthroat, rainbow, brown, brook and lake trout. There is also good fishing for grayling, kokanee salmon, black crappie, largemouth and smallmouth bass, striped bass, walleye, white bass and muskie. Jim covers in detail all of the waters, with information on how and when to fish each water. He also gives practical recommendations on the best flies to tie on.
